wildfire support + resources
in response to the unbelievable devastations from the LA wildfires, I’ve put together this list of mental health resources. please share.
Mental health care is something that I’ve found most valuable to center on in our challenging times. From job loss to displacement, or navigating traumatic situations, the condition of our headspace needs care and attention. These resources exist to be of value to all; our disasters do not discriminate and there is never shame in needing support.

here are small ways to ease the emotional burden for the time being:
Limit the News Cycle: Protect your mental space by setting boundaries with news updates.
Create Space for Calm: Whether it’s a walk, drawing, or just sitting quietly, lean into moments that allow you to breathe.
Be of Service: Channel survivor guilt into action. Volunteer together at donation drives, write notes of support to displaced families, or cook meals to share.
supporting those displaced by the LA wildfires:
The Composed Giving donation drive has collected thousands of items to support anyone affected by the recent wildfires — and they aren’t done. If you or someone you know needs essential items, please visit us at Valley Country Market, Suite 30.
Everything is free, and there’s no need to sign up or ask—just come and take what you need:
Clothing for all ages
Toiletries and hygiene products
Kids’ items like toys, books, and clothing
Household essentials: bedding, chargers, batteries
Diapers and other baby essentials
Pet items for furry family members
If you’re unable to come yourself but know someone who could benefit, please pass this along to them as there are volunteers making deliveries to those requesting it. We want everyone in our community to know they are welcome and supported here.
