Virtual Marketing + Design Assistant
We’re looking for a freelance Virtual Marketing + Design Assistant with proven creative flair and solid organizational skills to support client project by executing digital marketing tasks, keeping client project work flowing, and creating visual assets (primarily in Canva). Thinking out of the box is a bonus! You will assist with client project tasks, content creation, and perform research to enhance campaign projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for digital marketing and design to learn and grow within a remote, project-based role.
Position: Freelance Virtual Marketing + Design Assistant
Hours: 5-10 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Rate: $28+/hour (based on experience)
Location: Remote in Los Angeles (preferred in Pasadena/Burbank vicinity)
Responsibilities:
Design and update graphics for newsletters, social media, and website content using Canva (png, pdf, webp, mov4 +)
Conduct research on current marketing trends, AI applications, and optimization techniques to support client projects
Assist in preparing and editing brand and marketing materials for campaigns and digital projects
Organize and maintain digital files, project trackers, and client reports on Google Drive
Support with additional marketing tasks as needed, such as posting and updating content on social platforms (Later.com)
Qualifications:
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design tools (Canva + Adobe Illustrator experience required)
Basic understanding of digital marketing and current trends, including AI, chatGPT
Usage and experience with brand guide standards, color story, consumer psychology in design decisions
Knowledge of digital design standards for social platforms as well as digital flyers; including asset size, print quality, etc
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to articulate design decisions and communicate professionally
Strong time-management skills for balancing various project tasks with conflicting timelines
